Debarah Jones REALTOR®

Recognizing the complexities of the real estate market, I am dedicated to providing clear guidance and support to my clients, simplifying each transaction.  With a genuine passion for real estate, I am committed to understanding and achieving the goals of those I work with.  I offer top-notch service in all aspects of real estate, from traditional sales to investment properties.   Known for my client-centered approach, I excel in communication, negotiation strategies, and possess extensive knowledge of the East Texas and DFW area real estate markets. I prioritize prompt responses to client inquiries and am easily accessible by email, text, or phone.

Continually seeking to expand my knowledge, I regularly participate in continuing education and attend real estate seminars to stay current with industry trends and technology.  In my free time, I enjoy quality time with my daughter, Dymin, and skating.  As a Realtor, I strive to understand your unique needs and goals to help you make the best investment decisions. I prioritize building lasting relationships with my clients, focusing on long-term success rather than one-time transactions.

Originally from East Texas, specifically Tyler, I decided to explore beyond my hometown by enlisting in the United States Army.  Over my 13-year military career, I honed my skills in leadership, problem-solving, and attention to detail through various domestic and international assignments.  Upon completing my service, I returned to Tyler, Texas to establish roots once again.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix and have been a licensed Realtor since 2016.  In April 2024, I obtained my Broker’s License, furthering my expertise in the real estate industry.  Graduating from the Texas Realtor Leadership Program in 2021, I refined my abilities in team leadership and guiding clients through the home-buying process.

Back in 2016, as I was preparing to be discharged from the U.S. military, I knew that I wanted to work for myself.  After praying and fasting, God led me to real estate.  My initial desire to enter into the real estate industry was to flip properties, but I decided to get my real estate license so that I could sell the properties once I flipped them and save money.  I came out running!  I was newly divorced with a mortgage and, now, a single mom to a 3-year-old.  I had no choice but to grind.

In my first year, I secured $1.9 million in sales, which was not common.  I was desperate to make this work.  And year after year, I grew.  By my second year and armed with more than enough leads to offer, I had built a team.

How do I stand out amongst a sea of realtors?

In my hometown of Tyler, TX, I didn't see any realtors with a billboard, so guess what I did?   I bought the biggest billboard on the busiest road.  After a year, I began seeing other realtors secure billboards too.  After prayer, I took my billboard down, but I knew that I wasn’t done.  I then noticed that there weren't realtors with TV commercials, so I had FOX 51 direct my professional commercial and, it was a hit!  Knowing that I had to set myself apart, I bet on me and it worked!

"I was a big fish in a little pond." (quoted by my mentor at the time)

I had people asked me, "How did you become so successful so fast?", and I say "God and doing what others didn’t want to do."  I was walking in God's will for my life.

My personal scripture is Psalms 46:5. “God is within her, she will not fail.”

Throughout my real estate journey, I have continued to push my limits and my business has grown so much because of it.  Expanding my territory, I moved to the DFW area and became the little fish in a big pond.  Nevertheless, I didn’t settle and 8 years later, I opened my own Real Estate Brokerage.  For most agents, it takes 10-15 years to become a Broker.  With my tenacity, drive, and desire to build my legacy,  I was ready at my 6-year mark because of my education that credited over 600+ points, but decided to stay the course and completely stabilize other areas of my life.  As of April 4, 2024, I can proudly say that I met my goal.

It is time for me to hit the ground again!  Now armed with knowledge, I can work smarter and not harder.  In two years, you will meet the person that is my inspiration.
